Persons with Disabilities

Disabled or injured faculty/staff or visitors who need assistance traveling within the Homewood Campus may arrange a ride in a wheelchair-accessible van.  To arrange or schedule a pick-up, please call (410) 516-4200..

Students with Disabilities

Disabled or injured students who need assistance traveling within the Homewood Campus should complete the electronic initial form with Student Disability Services at https://hunter.accessiblelearning.com/JHU/ApplicationStudent.aspx. Once the form is complete, the applicant will be prompted to upload documentation from a medical provider.  Guidelines for documentation are available at https://studentaffairs.jhu.edu/disabilities/prospective-newly-admitted-students/documentation-guidelines/. Once the Student Disability Services office receives the application and documentation, they will review the information and alert Transportation Services regarding approval status.  Rides may be scheduled thereafter by calling (410) 516-4200 or by emailing adaride@jhu.edu.

Disabled Visitors

Disabled visitors should park in the South Garage and have the attendant arrange for a transport. Transportation Services provides escorts between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  All other times, visitors with handicapped license plates or State-issued hangtags should park in the closest available handicapped spot to their campus destination.  The Blue Jay Shuttle provides rides after 6:00pm.  Rides may be arranged by calling (410) 516-4200.  A wheelchair-accessible van is available upon request.

Injured Paid Parkers

Please call Transportation Services at (410) 516-4200 to arrange a transport, or call (410) 516-7275 during business hours to inquire about alternate parking arrangements.
