A second phase of the sidewalk construction near the Washington Street Garage bus stop has commenced. Keswick-Homewood-Eastern-JHMI shuttles will resume using the relocated bus stop at southbound Wolfe Street prior to McElderry Street, streetside near the Wolfe Street / Meyer Entrance Patient and Visitor Dropoff area. Shuttles will attempt to check the Garage stop to ensure no one is missed; but to ensure best service, riders should plan to use the Wolfe and McElderry location. We apologize for the confusion about the construction schedule. This will continue until further notice. Direct all inquiries to

Given the continued improvements in COVID trends and after consultation with university experts in public health and infectious disease, Johns Hopkins University has decided to relax its masking policy for vaccinated affiliates on university shuttles and buses, effective Tuesday, March 15.

Masking on university shuttle services will be optional for those who are vaccinated and boosted. Those who have been granted exceptions from the university's vaccination and/or booster mandate will still be required to wear masks on shuttles. A list of routes and services affected by this change is available on the Transportation Services website.

Health System shuttles will continue to require masking for all passengers until further notice.

Consistent, proper use of high-quality face masks is one of the most effective measures to limit the spread of COVID, and students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to continue masking if that makes them more comfortable and/or if they have particular circumstances that influence their personal risk tolerance.

The constuction project which had displaced the bus stop at Washington Street Garage has concluded.  Between now and March 25th, vans will stop at BOTH the regular and temporary locations (southbound Wolfe Street prior to McElderry Street, streetside near the Wolfe Street / Meyer Entrance Patient and Visitor Dropoff area).  Starting on March 28th, vans will stop ONLY at the REGULAR stop location at Washington Street Garage.  Direct all inquiries to
