Please be reminded that in observance of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no service on any of Transportation Service's daytime nor evening bus and shuttle routes and services on Monday, September 6th, 2021.  Normal service will resume on Tuesday the 7th.  Please see the schedules posted at Transportation Services website at or contact for more information.
Starting today (Monday, August 30th), a new route commences connecting the Milton S Eisenhower Library with the JHU-MICA Film Centre and the JHU Center for Visual Arts.  Please note that the new route is not yet displaying in our TransLoc system, neither on the app nor on the website.  We are working as quickly as possible to rectify this and will post an update as soon as it is available.  The service will be running starting today, and should be operating close to its scheduled timetable.  We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused, and hope you enjoy the new service.

Through the rest of August and all of September, Homewood-Peabody-JHMI service will be supplemented by an outside bus company in the afternoons and evenings. On weekdays (beginning Monday, August 30th), this will start at approximately 3pm. On Saturdays and Sundays this will start at approximately 5pm.

We are exploring a solution which will allow the outside provider's buses to track in TransLoc and hope to publish an update on this situation early next week. The tracking situation will be back to normal by October. In the meantime, we apologize for any confusion and inconvenience caused.

Starting on Saturday, August 14th, and running through the rest of August and all of September, Saturday and Sunday Homewood-Peabody-JHMI service will be provided by an outside bus company in the evenings.  This will start each day with the 525pm departure from JHMI and conclude with the normal scheduled end of service on each day.

The buses from this provider WILL NOT track in TransLoc, so, be aware that the bus WILL be on the road during those periods even if the app doesn't reflect this on Saturday and Sunday evenings.  If the bus is running significantly off-schedule during these times, a TransLoc "Service Alert" will be published to that effect.

Starting in October, weekend service should once again be tracking normally.  We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience in the meantime.
Effective Thursday, August 5th, 2021, masks will once again be required for all drivers and passengers at all times while aboard all JHU buses and shuttles. Contact us at with questions or concerns.
